Tomato in amongst the Dhalia plant

There must have been tomato seeds in the homemade compost I put around the Dahlia in the spring. There are little green fruits on them this week...I pulled lots out in the summer.

I spread home made compost around the flower borders two weeks ago and now have many small Tomato seedlings coming through ... I shall have to rake it all over!

Isn't it marvelous if you had wanted them to grow they probably wouldn't have done .....

Hb, I think I'm going to stop adding tomato pulp to the compost ! .....
