Trees with autumn foliage in Mayfield Road Hartford 7th November 2018. This tree was felled at the end of last winter. :(

Thank you, Kate. I agree it IS a shame they cut it down! I think it may have been because it shaded the bungalow beside it so much & possibly for root damage to the building. It was very healthy as far as I could see.

I will miss its beautiful colouring this year! We have lived in this flat about 18 years & I was accustomed to seeing the wonderful display each year. Fortunately I have more photos of it but if I'd had an inkling it was going to be felled the following spring I would have taken more photos of it from different angles.

Beautiful colours Balcony.
I think it’s such a pity the tree has been chopped down! What a real shame. I think it would’ve been a nice feature all year round.
