Shrub with large ? Reddish pink berries on.

Spotted this at Hemswell yesterday. It was while visiting the Antique sites. Pretty, large berries on. I do not know what the shrub is?

Might be Cotoneaster lacteus. Its ok...but sprawly. You’re better off with a different cotoneaster depending on how much space you have Kate. The berries are fabulous on all the cotoneasters this year.

Had another look. Think its Cotoneaster glabratus.

Thanks Karen, I’d have to plant it up on the bund/hill area I guess. I agree about the berries too! This one had quite large berries on it, bigger than ones I’ve seen normally.

Yes, that's what is giving me doubts. The leaf and habit are definitely like Cotoneaster though. Perhaps it's a new 'sport' that we don't know about yet. :)
