Evergreen grass-like plant. Great for shady areas where grass won't grow or slopes where mowing is awkward. Never needs mowing. White flowers late summer followed by black berries.

Yes, I've only had this for a couple years, but it becomes more and more dense as time rolls on. There is also a variegated version, one with blue flowers, and a larger version with giant leaves, like day lilies. It's really nice when in bloom whether white or blue. The berries are nice too, but don't last.
