Skimmia buds and berries

Wow what an achievement, berries and flowers!

I am surprised the birds haven't found them yet

its a no nonsense shrub so I really cant take the credit for this one. As I said I had 3 berries from my mum's shrub in Feb 96. She had died the previous Dec and my eldest brother was left the property. He was going to totally revamp the small gardens and the Skimmia was to go. All 3 berries germinated and 2 are in my garden. The third went to my middle brother, but I don't think it survived the winter of 2011.
