A typical Long Island village - this is where you'd catch the ferry to Fire Island, via Long Island Railroad- about 2 hours from Pennsylvania Station in Midtown.

It does have the British feel to it just as many other villages.

Perhaps they were designed with British villages in mind after all the early Americans were British. I live in a village which still has the village feel of friendship how long this will last with so much of the fields and canal being built on .

That's quite possible either the English or the Dutch. I remember reading in the history books how they would find oysters the size of dinner plates

You could mistake it for some where in England . Our villages are quite different here in most places.
