Hi 3d, what a lucky buy, I'd much prefer a Hellebore to Astilbe, I've just ordered a collection from gardening express, 5 different cultivars, plus a large Buddleja 'Morning Mist', Derek.

So would I predere Helleborus Derkm my son loves the Astilbe hence why I bought them for him lol.

Hi 3d, you may have to wait a while before you see photo's of my Hellebores, I've been waiting in all day for them to be delivered, [arrived at 7pm], I opened the box, and every 1 of them had had all the growth cut back, I was expecting to see some flowers, but just a few spikes coming out of a 2ltr pot, the Budleja, is in a 10 ltr pot, and has buds on it, so I'm assuming this has been forced, so I'll harden it off, before I plant it out, Derek.

That is awful Derkm how disappointing for you perhaps you should send them a line of your disappointment they might offer to give you another lot or a few freebies.
They still might come through some of mine have no leaves at all and the flowers on some are starting to sprout up some dont flower until March April so you might be in with s chance.

Hi 3d, I think they will have to GO SOME to flower this year, I get the impression that they have already flowered, and been cut back for easier packaging, but I'll keep my fingers crossed, Derek.

Let's hope they do come back for you this year. Yes some companys do cut back to save breakage or easy packing which is annoying.
