Great detail in the close up. Love the smell of pine.

I just discovered that this tree produces a lot of liquid amber which sometimes traps bugs and such preserving them forever like in the movie Jurassic Park. The scientists extracted dinosaur DNA from a mosquito preserved in amber. Ha ha. Is that even possible?

LOVELY TO SEE THE PINE CONES. LOTS DOWN IN THE PARK AFTER THE STORMS. IN OUR FIRST HOME THAT WE HAD ON THE I.O.WIGHT,WHEN WE HAD OUR FIREPLACE AND ACTUALLY HAD AN OPEN FIRE, A VERY LONG TIME AGO, I USED TO COLLECT THE PINE CONES TO START THE FIRE GOING AND WE COLLECTED DRIFTWOOD FOR IT AS WELL.
