A South African member of the mallow family. Stated for a mild climate, blooming from May to October. No one has told this plant that! Feb 24 after a bitterly cold night.

This is one of two, six inch cuttings, that I was given last summer. It's done so well, about 4ft now. I'm really pleased with it.

Its closed its ears to that info Sue . it will continue on its own merry way ..
we have a Mallow it grows along the sides of the footpath along the coast here , I'd never seen it until we moved here I don't know its name it grows at least 6/8 ft tall its stems are like tree trunks and covered in flowers when they bloom they must be very hardy to withstand the wind blowing off the sea ..
