These primroses and golden grass were never planted - they just arrived

Stera - there were a couple of purple ones (cultivars) in the garden when I moved here, so I reckon their genes live on in the pink ones

Probably. But I have sen a pink one on a hedge bank quite a long way from houses so I wondered.I guess bees fly quite long distances sometimes.

Its amazing isn't it. Primrose do that here too, in the flower beds and in the lawn...everywhere I've lived before seeing a wild primrose was a treat...and never any pink ones either.
