Flowers hiding below the leaves, hence missed last year. Luckily looked and discovered 3 flowers.

Thanks Fernever. One for light shade in woodsy soil, interesting rather than spectacular. The flowers can't be seen unless you move the leaves to the side.

I took a photo this morning but it was so blurred I'll have to take another one ,Sue I take last years old leaves off , there's plenty of nice new ones ..

AMY, Do they still flower well the next year with the old evergreen leaves removed? Autumn or Springtime cut off?

I would like to relocate to a spot where the flowers are more visible. That would have to be elevated, but where??

Thanks for the idea, 3pb, that might be a possibility. I could put it in a container on top of my water barrel, that's in shade and I could ring the changes seasonally.
