I pruned it like that because I couldn't see pedestrians/dogs walking along the pavement, whilst backing out the car.

What a wonderful show and shape.

And what a mess the spent fallen flowers make on the pavement, drive and under the plant.

Ahrr but they are worth it for the show they give.😊

I like the way you’ve shaped your camellia, Siris..looks amazing with all the flowers on it.

It would be a shame to remove it now...it’s looking so pretty ...we have done the same with one of ours.......

Tit for Tat, Dd. I used your idea of putting a plant on the top of a waterbutt.

Ours is more of an umbrella shape.....well let’s say that’s what it’s supposed to be....lol😉

There is a large stump at the bottom, where I sawed off the other trunks. Would have to get a chap with a grinding machine to get those out. Still sprouts from there annually but I cut off.
