Lavender drying

Lavender drying (Lavandula angustifolia (Lavender))

Lavender will be drying for 3 days only, to be wrinkled, but not crunchy. This reduces the possibility of damage during the opening of the flowers.

Thrupennybit, honestly, I can't say what specific species these lavenders are. But I can say that they have a rare and strong aroma. I believe that we will produce a good and fragrant oil. The bees love the lavenders. Actually I had to compete with them to take some flowers and leave the maiority.

It's only the British lavender that makes the best scented oil
Yes I use to have a full hedge of lavender Alyna it would be full of all types of bees so I understand you having to compete with the bees. Oeople could smell it from the top of my lane.

Thrupennybit, I had to google it to really have one idea about what is a "full hedge of lavender", and found out that is what I planning to have.
I've planted the lavenders on both sides of car path and the border of the garden gap.
I'll post a photo.
