I love the new leaves of this hellebore

The slightly duller green are last years leaves and were like these new ones when they first appeared. they get worn smooth over the years.

Ok thank you. I think all of my hellebores have fleshier glossier leaves. I must look more closely. How to get an education on the cheap. lol.

I think it was because of the leaves I bought it. the flowers are pretty dull though.

The flowers will only last a short time and you can enjoy that beautiful foliage all year.

Are the glossy leaves the original leaves? These look to be an entirely different texture.
