To show the great grandchildren how easy it is to grow sunflowers. Last year we planted giant sunflowers and they watched them grow all summer. This year I'm afraid I planted some of Barney's dinner. (Barney is my African Grey parrot). They sprouted within two days and are only in a mushroom container from shops. To keep them interested I planted their giant pumpkin seeds this weekend and hopefully they can take them when this nightmare is over. I send photos to show updates to them. As I said yesterday, God Bless Whattsapp. I keep in touch with my grandson in Tokyo on it with voice and video calls. I should be there for cherry blossom time. It was my 70th birthday present from him last year. Certainly not happening this year because Tokyo on lockdown.

What a shame you won't be able to get to Tokyo. Keep well and keep virtual contact with them. Lol.
