Senior moment Bjs? I think you have Taxus baccata fastigiata which is a great plant as it does so well in a pot or can be grown on as a hedge. It can be pruned to keep it small in the pot but can be grown in to a tall hedge. It is also one of the evergreens which do regenerate unlike the leylandii which, once a branch is gone, it is gone. That one is a great shape.

Scotsgran yes senior moment ,Sure now it came from Amy as Yew,my brain deteriorates daily. I remember Amy sent it because hers flowered and my existing sprawling one never does.

Join the club Bjs. The ones I have in pots at the front door have never had flowers or fruit but the really ancient one in the garden sheds fruits all over part of the drive. The blackbirds and thrushes love those berries but will not feed on the fallen fruit for some strange reason. They eat the fallen apples.

I would love some but I don't think I can wait that long Lol x
