Dwarf Hawthorn

Thats great! In the autumn I sowed some copper beech seed, thinking I could have a bonsai Beech forest. No sign of germination yet though.

Tree seeds are notoriously slow Karen, but - oddly - I have a dwarf copper beech in a pot and frequently find seedlings! Next time I find one I’ll send it to you . . .

No Sheila I'm afraid it hasn't I think my daughter is afraid she'll kill it It might be coming back to us soon .. Its a kind of family thing a reminder of Sunday afternoon walks when they were children picking up conkers ..

Amy they often don’t flower, but when my dwarf Exochorda the Bride bloomed, I was thrilled. That’s a lovely way to keep a memory 🙂.

I love the Exochorda Bride anyway so to see it in miniature must be lovely 😀

It’s ok Amy - yes, I see the same thing happening - no idea why. My message changes the emoji to a small box, then it magically changes back on arrival! So all is well 🙂.

Oh yes they're back again ,how odd ,Thanks for letting me know Sheila I wasn't sure if it was my computer I had a new Windows 10 early this year I can't say I'm very happy with it I can't 'do' as much as I could on my old windows 7..
I can't even go to the shop to ask why with this lock-down I sent two email messages which so far have not been answered 🤣 ..
