Acers

I put the Acers out in the sun for an airing. They have been in a sheltered corner all winter and the sun's been too hot for them this last couple of weeks. Going to find the right spot for them this year.

They should be ok in the sun as long as you keep them well watered if you have fine leaf ones they dont like winds as it burns them the broader leaf ones can take it.
Both mine are in the ground one faces west the other faces south I seldom water them now.

Thank you. From left, Acer Palmatum 'Bloodgood' was a small free plant with an order 20 odd years ago, 'Orange Dream' in a tray of mixed Acers from the flower market close to me, 'Phoenix' a £3 special in a small pot from Morrisons, 'Butterfly' nearly out of the picture and in the front, 'Little Princess' in a bonsai pot. This was in the flower market mixed tray as well. I have tried seeds and cuttings but not a bit of success I'm afraid.
