This is Ailanthus? I have a few in my garden. They are multiplying fast in Hungary on verges, in cracks in the pavement etc. I think it's a very beautiful tree but I gather that locally they think it is a pest because it takes over from the natural trees.

Not sure what the botanical name is but think its common name is Tree of Heaven. You are right, it is beautiful but we have shoots appearing all over the lawn (which I cut regularly!), it does rather take over!
