Moraea alticola - 2020 (Moraea alticola)

A relative of iris, this South African grows up to four feet tall. It likes a well-drained soil in full sun - I find it best at the back of a border so it can die down behind other plants. Grows from corms and gradually bulks up to make good-sized clumps

Sue - I've had it for five years, and it's been divided once, having made large clumps in three years. It's in a west-facing border
