Lilacs

This is beautiful, I can imagine how fragrant it is.. I have a little one I bought last summer. It’s such a pretty flowering shrub..added to my faves.

Amazing how the fragrance carries on the wind a long ways. Some bees must be doing the happy waggle dance.

Lovely one Paul. I cut a few stems from my dwarf Lilac this afternoon and it’s wonderful how the fragrance wafts around the house.

Dwarf lilac Sheila? How big does it get? The fragrance is so uplifting isn't it? Would love to see yours.

Yes, love the fragrance Paul. My dwarf lilac is just under 3 ft tall and quite bushy . . . I'll put up a photo for you :)

It can also be seen in my photo of Cercis canadensis Forest Pansy, just to the left of the path.
