Also known as Winter Savory, lovely pinkish mauve flowers in spring. Looks pretty on the rockery.

Hi again Kate...I did eventually find this, which does indeed look like yours. I think there must be a lot of variety in the plant. I think yours is far more beautiful than any available to buy!

Hi Karen, that’s good. I got the label out of the shed, it doesn’t give much info, just Satureja Montana. On the back it says Bergbohnenkraut, winter savory. Full sun, 30 to 40cm, flowers June through July. However, there are some deeper coloured winter savory on the net too. Not sure if position helps bring out the best in it. Mine is in full sun.
