No Bjs it was bought from NTS Branklyn Garden in Perth. They hold the National Collection of Meconopsis. A visit to the garden in May and June is a very special experience. I have read that you should not let this one flower until it has spread with at least one new plant. It may be monocarpic (sterile and will die after flowering) so you would need to have a survivor to take its place if it is monocarpic. This one has spread. The Meconopsis Group have a lot to say about this name. See http://www.meconopsis.org/indivsp/sheldonii.html
I will be taking particular note of the leaves and seed pods etc. I did pot it on into a bigger pot because it was in a 9mm square pot when I bought it last year.
