New front border filling up.

You are very restrained with your plant positioning and the border looks better for it. How do you decide how closely to plant initially?
I must stop cramming my plants together - they always look such a muddle when they grow up and I lose treasures in the resulting mayhem.

I have to plant mine close together as the fox is still digging holes even in the smallest of spaces. Your border is lovely !
