I like this too. In the past vine weevils have taken off a few of my sedums.

Yes, they do seem to love them don't they, as well as slugs. :(

So far this year a constant battle with weevils, slugs, lily beetles. Why do we bother?

We have to I think...it's in our blood. Sometimes it feels like we are fighting a losing battle though doesn't it. I had a sparrow in my greenhouse a couple of weeks ago and the dear little fella ate all my bedding plants and my cucumber plants. I could have cried! The latest battle is with my seed-grown lupins which the slugs have discovered. I put a few beer traps out two nights ago. So far not one slug in there, but I did have a drunken labrador yesterday!!

Oh lupins and slugs.. enough said. I've tried 3 years in a row to get seedlings to grow and overwinter. Even put them in the g'house so I could use pellets and I still only ended up with half a dozen all-told to put in the borders. Then the ...... things came back with a vengeance and all but finished off the rest! I have a lot of purples which seem to have survived the onslaught. Coincidence?
Earlier this spring the cats managed to knock over all my seedlings on the top shelf of the greenhouse - compost and plants all over. Yes indeed, why DO we bother.

This is a no fuss plant. It' gets buried under snow all winter and bakes in the sun all summer and takes it like a champ. If I ever drop a leaf on the ground, it will sprout roots. It makes a neat spreading ground cover but not invasive.

Diminutive but beautiful. Love it! No sign of mine though, think I shall have to buy another.
