Thanks Anget, I had to wait for a slight dip in the wind before snapping this pic! You are right, we often don’t notice some things that aren’t big and bright in front of us at times!

They are such a lovely colour against the needles Kate. :) I have a blue pine which has really red ones. When I bought it I had no idea it would have them, a really nice surprise.

That's a super close-up. Noticed baby cones on the little spruce Christmas tree we planted up in the New Year. It's so easy to walk by without noticing these little gems.
