Lucky you. I daren't encourage them too much because of our cats, so happy they keep a little distance. The babies, however, seem to know no fear for the first few days so we try to keep on the alert until they learn to be wary of the felines.

WE USED TO HAVE SIAMESE CATS AND WE TAUGHT THEM TO LEAVE THE BIRDS ALONE AND I ALSO TAUGHT THEM TO SIT STAY COME AND ONE OF THEM USED TO KNOCK A TUMBLER OVER TO GET A BISCUIT AND JUMP OVER MY LEGS WHEN I SAT ON THE FLOOR. THEY WERE LIKE DOGS.

Our Burmese is an intelligent girl, too. I swear she understands every word I say, particularly "treats"!

We have a few blackbirds who 'tolerate' us now. Currently eating us out of house and home. I have to crumble fat balls, and share out leftover cat food too. They also wait for suet pellets, sunflower hearts... the list goes on!
