A tall Sisyrinchium with bee. Sometimes called the Bird of Paradise Sisyrinchium

I've heard it called 4 o clock flower, because it opens in the afternoon and closes at night, but I think it opens lunch time.

now to me the 4 o'clock plant is Mirabalis. that's the danger of common names.
