The good news, my onions did great this year, and the other good news is after waiting 3 months for the barbers to reopen I have got a booking for a hair cut on Friday "HURRAY"

Hi Lotti. It is not to hard to keep tidy. We have maintenance one day every month, like most societies it is always just a few turn up. I forget what the onions are called. I got them from an shelf in the garden shed. It is called help yourself and what means is anyone has any plants over or seeds they leave them on the shelf for garden members to use. I got the onion sets from that shelf last February I can not think of the name of them but I do remember it said winter onions. I put them in my shed and forgot about them, as the garden got closed over Covid-19 and did not reopen till June. When I was getting my garden tools out when the garden reopened in june I found the onions sets as I had forgot about them. I did not think they were any good. they looked all soft, so I though they had might have gone off. As all the garden suppliers were shut over Covid-19 I gave them a try and to my surprise they turned out to be the best onions I ever grew.

All are well here, my eldest son had the virus in march. He self isolated for 20 days and got through it TG. I hope all your family are keeping well, I don't know where the country is going to get the money from when the Covid-19 is over.

I do keep a eye on your photos of your garden and it is just what I would expect from you brilliant with colour and style.

Hello me old shipmate, as if I'd give you a mouthful lol:-) I rather like your rugged look. My daughter has an allotment now which has kept her on her toes during lockdown. Bet she doesn't grow onions like your whoppers:-)

I have kept the beard the hair nicely trimmed When I put the captains cap on I look the bees knees for our next sailing trip.

Goodo, but better wait until given the all clear, if we set off in in masks, we may be mistaken for criminals instead of the very young people in search of adventure that we are:-))
