A behemoth blossom...and edible. Butternut Squash is one of the most delicious vegetables you can grow. AKA Winter Squash.

WE HAVEN'Y MADE BUTTERNUT SQUASH SOUP BUT WE HAVE TASTED IT ALREADY MADE AND IT WAS VERY TASTY PAUL.

WE GREW THEM WHEN WE HAD A BIGGER GARDEN HB AND HAD ABOUT 8 SQUASHES PER PLANT. THEY STORED VERY WELL IN A COOL GARAGE.

P.S.....WE ALWAYS PREPARED THE GROUND AND DUG IT OVER WELL PLACING COMPOST UNDERNEATH BEFORE PLANTING.

I'm realizing the squirrels love them as much as we do. I'm trying to figure out how to keep them away. They've been nibbling on my squash.
