Yellow Orchid with flower bud close up in our kitchen on 9th May 2020. Unfortunately that was the last we saw of the scape because I accidentally broke it while attempting to move it up into a more vertical position! I could have cried! ;(

Thanks, Hywel. The plant is still alive & growing, though it needs repotting as most roots are outside the pot. Due to the garden centres being closed I've not been able to but the special compost that Orchids need. They can't be planted in normal compost or the roots would rot. They need a VERY open compost made mostly from tree bark with some moss.
I've had this plant 3 years now I think. This would have been the second year that I had managed to get it to reflower!
