White (Was originally blue & pink) Orchid with bud opening in our kitchen on 21st July 2020

Obviously, Willie, as the colour blue doesn't exist in Orchids - any more than it does in roses, for example! They incorporate a blue dye into the plant & then the flowers open blue! It's not a genetic alteration therefore once the flowers die off & are replaced by the non-treated flowers they end up white!
Even so I thought they were a nice colour! (I'd have been VERY surprised if they'd turned out to be blue again!!!).

Does this mean it could have been treated somehow to get it to flower as advertised once and then revert? Normally a flower in blue & pink would scream Chinese fake.
