Oh, lovely snap, Paul. We often have them in the garden near to the pond, but, haven’t see one this summer!?!?

I can never capture on one photo they move too quickly ..

Thank you everybody for your lovely comments. To capture them the trick is to discreetly & stealthily sneak up behind them and maybe you'll get a half-way decent shot. I had lots of throw-aways too. Kate, they seem to be more numerous the latter part of the Summer.

I'm the throw-aways queen, can't even take a decent shot of a slow frog :(
