Thank You. I wish I knew Kate. They were giving it to me whether I wanted it or not with a note to please look after. The City is in a 'better environment' phase these days. They want to green things up a bit and reduce carbon emissions into the environment. This will certainly do it.

when it flowers (in early June,usually) the scent will freshen the air, Bathgate. The flowers are used to make a heavenly scented calming tea, in Europe. I have the large leaf Linden, which I've always called Basswood and it can grow to amazing proportions... I can send you a pic of my basswood on the hill it's got to be 60 ft. tall! One of the small towns near us has planted them along their main street and every June the street smells amazing. You can google "Tilia" for more info.
