My plant doesn't have the usual huge flowers you see on this. I don't prune it hard in order to get height rather than flower-power. Because of this treatment the flowers are smaller.

I don't know where I read about lighter pruning, Stera, but its certainly worked for me! I'm not so keen on the huge blooms anyway. Because our soil tends to dry out a lot these smaller heads hold themselves up better than those heavier ones.

It’s a nice compact one, Ange. Pretty smaller sized flowers. Sounds a good idea re. The pruning.

That's interesting. I didn't prune mine at all this year either but the flowers are just the same as usual. It's pretty isn't it - more dainty and less chunky!
