Hydrengea detail

Kate posted her blue hydrangea detail and this is a similar fascinating snap of my Mophead hydrangea "'Chique' .
It was one of my summer star and I am not even fan of mopheads. We got it for my OH. He loves them but they usually do not last more than a season. He likes flamboyant flowers.
"Chique" survived for couple of years.
