Rhodophiala bifida

Rhodophiala bifida (Rhodophiala bifida)

A member of the Amaryllidaceae family, this is closer to a Hippeastrum than an Amaryllis. It acts like a Naked Lady as the flowers are before the foliage, which will grow all winter. Unlike a lot of others in the family, it needs to be planted very deep. The necks underground are over 18" long.
