Thanks, ladies. Monty was telling us how to take cuttings so I shall try that.
It was a cheap plant from a supermarket, so good value. growit for the leaves - not keen on the fruit.

I can understand you growing it for the leaves, Ange. They are impressive. To be honest, I’ve never tried figs.

I love figs. I had 11 figs from my plant this year (in a tub in the conservatory) 0ne each day with my muesli when they were ripe.

We have an enormous tree at the back of the garden no fruit unfortunately.....but we grow it for the leaves....

Gosh the foliage looks good, that must be its proximity to the nutrients from the compost, hope that's not in lieu of fruit.
