Wow, now that's a toad stool. How big is this Amy, your estimate? - looks huge.

Not that big really Paul this one was about 4" across ..

What a beauty! Its lost half its spots.. Hallucinogenic if you fancy a "trip"! I do love toadstools - so sudden and often so bright. Was it under a silver birch tree?

There were more spots on some than others Yorks , some were big and soggy from the rain ,yes they were under Silver Birch ...

Never ever seen these....you are fortunate...

They were everywhere in this forest Dd I love to see them ..

Do you remember Noseypotter? He made some big ones and somebody stole them but he found them in the end. I used to enjoy his blogs....

I do remember him well Yorks ,he's a friend the police found them he asked if he could put them in my garden for safe keeping , when we moved I put them in my daughters garden , they are still there today .. ..
