I had to take this from my neighbors property where it is higher than mine as the bush is about 5 meters tall. It is in an unused area, and is surrounded by trees and a bamboo-like grass; so it doesn't get a lot of sun at this time of year.

wonderful to see them in the wild, rather than the pumped up houseplants in the supermarkets over here.

They do require some attention, like yearly pruning. I haven't done it to this as often as I should and it will grow about 4 feet in a year.

When I lived in Tenerife I used to love to see these growing along the side of the road as small trees.They shout Christmas to me.
