My 1958 Ford Thunderbird

My 1958 Ford Thunderbird

Mainly it's a showpiece. Drinks gasoline like a drunken sailor but it's a good ride. I'll take it out occasionally during the summer months if the weather is agreeable.

its in better nick than me haha. How long have you had her? Has she had many previous owners?
Our 1960 P4 Rover 80 has only had 2 previous owners so that was a good find.

She had 3 previous owners before me. Her engine grumbles like she means business. Takes a little more muscle to drive but she responds beautifully.

Turns a lot of head Anget. I get at least one offer every time I take it out. I've met several others who have restored classics. A buddy of mine has a gorgeous 1957 Chevy. It's the bomb!

ha they are called wings. What strikes me is how big and roomy it is. She can hold 4 comfortably in the back seat & 3 in the front with loads of trunk space.

I'm sure they do I expect yours has its own little quirks , my husband had a Triumph thunderbird Motor bike when I met him eons ago , it's a wonder we survived .. he later did up a 1946 BSA B31 350CC motor bike which he passed on to our son-in-law who still has it ...

That's an iconic bike! Lots of chrome and rugged.

Amy I/we have the pre war styled 1952 BSA B31 too. so they will look the same. I have trouble kicking it off sadly but it is lovely to ride.

Super car Paul. We had a James 250 motorbike when we first got married and it had a faring on the front. Then a Ford Anglia, I then had a mini metro, and an escort estate, and I liked driving the Cavalier and then we had Corsa cars.

The James 250 is another classic. bike Linda. What fun it must be to cruise the English Countryside.
