Crassula 'Gollum' (Gollum)

About 5' and wide when you grow the favorite houseplant outdoors. Gets a bit Japanese Bonsai form on its own..more with some pruning.
A bit past peak bloom by the rental cottage.

Nice, I just bought one as big as my pinkie. So this is what I can expect? I'll need a bigger pot.

They can be grown indoors to any size if conditions are right. Many have grown them as indoor Bonsai.

That’s a nice specimen. My aunt had a very large jade plant around 8’ tall. It was not to far from where you live.

I spotted one about 6' near the old demolished Kaiser Hospital..never got to take a photo of it in bloom. They also have a nice potted Plumeria...and an ancient huge trunked Jacaranda that ..was cut back to trunk and a few thick branches. Sometimes you just have to do that if you want anything but dark shade all year - or close to it.

There’s some very interesting plants in that area. I used to live very close to the old Kaiser Hospital, in Palmecia (in the 1970’s). There’s many very big, old avocado trees there, also.

I know that big Jacaranda tree in back of the old Kaiser Hospital. My mom still lives close to the old Kaiser Hospital in Southgate.

One house on a street my aunt and uncle lived on -Gainesville- has a few trunking Majesty Palms...maybe close to most trunk feet on one of those in Hayward. I have seen almost the same in Oakland and Fremont.
Its like all the tropicals are now free to grow here that never could before.
I still have my Pandanus going well.

My little Avocado tree is full of flowers. Its so runty. I've never had one grow so slow. 5' maybe. Last year it had its first fruit. Might still be on the tree. I have to check.
