A lot of people like that in this area. You should see the roads and lanes around Chigwell. An absolute disgrace.

Likewise here. I think it is getting worse now. Dogs are a problem, too. (Or rather, their owners are!)

we have 2 MacDonalds near by, one at Willerby and the other at Morrison's site Beverely. Our village is just the right distance for them to have eaten/drunk their junk and we get the rubbish. However when MacyD have been told they send someone out to litter pick it.

I was on a zoom committee for Glasgow City Council discussing their budget for next year. Members of the public like me were asked for our priorities. Litter and dog mess were in the top three. Number one was help for children who had missed out in their education over the last year.

Ignorant people out there, Julia. No consideration for the environment or wildlife. Sadly, they never seem to get caught or fined..

Its disgusting. I sometimes take a bag our with me and pick up as I go.

the only unpleasantness Toria had when working for a year at wildlife reserves was with dog walkers who blatantly ignored requests. Leads and poop scoop. One bloke threatened to rub her nose in it! She just had to walk away and report it. sadly no cctv to help identify him. but she never saw him on the reserve again. When asked to have dogs on leads she did get a lot of opposition. The rule was to prevent their dogs getting bit by adders. They are just so ignorant and would want the adders destroyed if their pooch got bitten.

People sling poop bags over the hedge rows round our country lanes too. It would be better if they just flicked the poop under the hedgerow at least it will degrade there.
