or Oregon grape as we call it here. Native in this region.It grows wild and it is invasive. It spreads by rhizomes . I have seen a hybrid from it which is probably more controllable. It also have some medicinal properties used by native Indians.

Thank you for showing us the native plant. I think mine must be a selected cultivar, the flowers are much yellower.

I think it’s a very interesting plant, Klahanie! It has very pretty little buds/flowers too. Thank you for the info, it’s definitely an all rounder.
