Glad these plants are coming back into fashion. Nice choice.

Kate, I have three in the front gravel garden, they were a Gardener's World mag. offer many years ago and are still going strong! I did have a couple of shorter 'Popsicle' ones in the back but they seem to have gone walkabout!

My first house I bought, when I was 21, it was a semi and there was a hedge at the side next to a lane.
Whenever I see pics of kniphofia - it takes me back.
The previous owner had planted them into the ‘chest high’ box hedge - it was an odd combo, but I left them. I was inexperienced and young.
