its very pretty but it doesn't look like the Scabiosa I have,
more like an Osteospermum.

I"m guessing at this one Eileen. The tag just says 'annual'. Scabiosa was the closest match I could find as per Google. It has a shrubby habit.

I was thinking Osteospermum too, as I have it on the rockery.

Thank You. Whatever it is, it adds a splash of color and it's only here for 1 season. Last year I cut down my hedges to build a fence so now I have lots of empty space to fill.
