One of my neighbours gave me a packet of seeds and I've got enough plants coming on to be able to give a few away.

I can't keep slugs and snails off mine, even with pellets. (In the g'house). I shall be lucky if I manage to keep half a dozen. I am envious. I've pretty much decided to give up trying as this is my third attempt in 3 years with little to show for it!

You'll have to employ a toad or frog in there Ange. When we lived down the road and had a huge wooden greenhouse, we had a toad in there and he did a great job.
Sorry to hear that you have such a big problem with slugs and snails Ange. Have you looked underneath the shelving because they get in everywhere. I have to look inside the clay pot tops in the garden as over the winter they tend to gather there too. At the moment the amount of birds we get in the garden are keeping the job well done. We are getting aphids outside and the bluetits are having a go at them. Can I suggest that if you have a conservatory try growing them in there.
