That hosta is looking healthy and green, Linda.

Not doing too badly Kate, but has a few holes in the leaves. I am reluctant to put slug pellets down, especially as we have a lot of baby birds around. There are a lot of empty snail shells around so hopefully the thrush is doing a good job.

I’m in agreement, Linda, I’m reluctant too. We will just have to hope they don’t get nibbled too much.
I do wish we had a thrush or 2...haven’t seen one for some time. When they do come and visit, the blackies chase them off!

We have 3 pairs of Blackbirds here and sometimes they put up a fight and sometimes they tolerate each other.
