I'm pleased with this, especially as I've recently seen a red lupin exactly like this one on sale for - wait for it - £18 recently. Grown from seed. Perhaps I should go into business??

Thank you, Klahanie, Paul and Shirley.
I am lucky if I manage to get seedlings through to planting size - the slugs adore them in the greenhouse and also when they're youngsters in the borders. I've tried 3 packets of yellow ones in the last 3 years, not one to show for it! The purples seem more robust but they can be muddy-coloured. I've rogued lots of them out. P'raps that explains why they're so expensive to buy.

What a very pretty combination you have, Ange! I do love the colour on your lupins!

I love Lupins - but not the grey Aphids that always feasted on any I grew!
