thankyou! my pics of the last few years have been dismal..out of focus or blurry because of unsteady hands. all this comes with getting older but I've had cataracts removed and as a result my photographs have improved. lol... any improvement at this point is a cause for celebration! lol... I now have four established clumps of the blue-purple and divided and spread the butter and sugar sib. irises among the yellow bearded and the work paid off. even after a warmer than usual winter the poor things were frozen into the stream bank and looked very poorly with the cold wintry spring we had. As soon as it became warmer the change was amazing. in days the blossoms rose and bloomed...then they were subjected to two more nights of sub-zero temps before they were able to complete their growth cycle. in constant awe of the wonderful flowers.
